Cafe bar attacked by gunmen

Police in Didsbury are hunting robbers who threatened bar staff with guns. Just before 1am on , last Friday 27 August, three masked men burst into The Folk Café Bar on Burton Road, as staff were closing for the night.

Fly tipping man fined

A Stockport man was fined by Stockport Magistrates for a Duty of Care offence involving fly-tipped waste. Tony Duncan, aged 38, of Marbury Road, Heaton Chapel, pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £175, with costs of £325 and a £15 victim surcharge.
